Description
An enthusiastic group representatives of the Ecodorp Branbant Foundation started a pilot project in which they experiment with different ecological building methods such as building with straw bales and green roofs. The building shall be used as an information centre en meeting place. The experience obtained will be used in the process to realize their dream: the realization of an ecological, autarkic village in which inhabitants build their own homes. Van Laarhoven Combinatie Architects made the design of the multifunctional building as well as a part of the ecovillage. The design of the multifunctional building is based on the Vesica Pisces: source of strength and energy.
